There is no explanation.
Violable rite, sacred sentiment
Leave me breathless and irreverent.
You take my face in your hands.
Lying again, I climb the shelf
At the apex I find myself
Rubbing weary eyes. My dreary surprise.
I shoulder your love in my stance.
Echoes of your hymn,
O God, where should I begin?
I confess I come apart. Again.
I count our estrangement as my sorrow.
Swaddled in my solitude,
Impassionate subdue
Grips my plexus. Leave me breathless.
I count our reunion as my joy.
